What's this all about, then?

Younger Queens Unite

About 10% of all breast cancer diagnoses occur in wonderwomen who are under 45 years old. In the UK, around 5,000 women under 45 are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

The founder of this site, Claire, is one of them. If you're reading this, you might be one of them too. For queens in the prime of their lives, a breast cancer diagnosis is a literal and figurative kick in the tit. Love them or hate them, your incredible tits have turned on you. They've had the absolute audacity to secretly host a tumour that if it's not stopped is going to try and kill you, and honestly, I'll say it, it's just not on. Bad tits!

Whilst the clinical advise applies to women of any age, dealing with all of this at a younger age hits differently. We're much more likely to be juggling treatment schedules and side effects with a young family, a career and a full life. We're still planning our life goals and are flat to the mat chasing our dreams. We don't have time for frigging cancer.

So this is a place for women under 45 to get information, support, advice and community in a way that feels authentic to us. We swear, we want to be spicy, we want to have fun, we want to keep living and dreaming. It's also a place for the people who are supporting the heroine at the centre of this shit show to get advice and insights on how to help.

This site is evolving. What do you need? What do you want to see? What will make you feel less alone? Let us know.
